Daily Prayer

Your words can build others up or they can tear them down. Words you speak come out of your mouth from the thoughts that are in your mind and in your heart. The tongue can bring life or death to those around you. As you pray for guidance from our Lord before you speak, He will direct your heart and your mouth to speak words out of love. Come to the Lord for His guidance. He will give you the right words to say in every situation if you will stop and pray before you respond. He might just want you to be silent right now. But, you must be still and listen to His heart to know what is best. PRAY to find the WAY!

“Let the words of my mouth and the mediation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and redeemer.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

I need Your guidance about how I will respond. I know that You will give me the right words to say as I pray. The Holy Spirit will direct my thoughts and my words that will encourage me before I speak. I pray that the words that flow out of my mouth will be acceptable and honorable to You. Fill my heart with more of Your love so that I can answer with love. I want to please You in all that I say and do. Help me to be a light of love in this darkened world so that I can live and speak out of Your love which has restored and redeemed me!
