Daily Prayer
We all devote our time to something and give our attention to it. In this world of many choices, we can be overwhelmed with what we can and need to do with our days. Do you need guidance for how to spend your days wisely? Is your heart, soul, body and mind ready to be filled with the fruit of the Spirit? If you are seeking more love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, then abide in Jesus and you will have the fruit of the Spirit in your life. Apart from the vine of Jesus, you cannot find this fruit-filled life in the Spirit. You are like the branches of a tree that need the life giving power of the Spirit as Power. This SAP from Jesus will add new life to the brokenness, busyness and stress of daily living if you just abide in Him. Some practical ways to abide in Jesus are through individual and corporate prayer, reading His word, serving where He calls you, fellowship with other believers through worship, Bible studies and conversations of faith, and just being still and listening to Him speak to you. Try abiding and see the good fruit flow out from your life! Apart from Him, we cannot bear the fruit of the Spirit. Spending our days abiding in our Savior and friend, Jesus Christ is the way to a fruitful life!

Dear Heavenly Father,
I want to spend my days wisely by abiding more in You each day. I will bear much good fruit as I abide in you and you in me. I will stop trying to do things on my own without abiding in You. You are the first one I need to talk to each day as I wake up and each night before I rest. You love to help me and encourage me through Your Spirit as Power in my life. I will let Your SAP flow in and out of me so that I can bear the fruit of the Spirit. Thank You for Your life giving Spirit that enriches and energizes me to bear much good fruit each day!
