Daily Prayer

“For whoever would save his life would lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's sake will save it.”

Mark 8:35

When you try to save your life by doing only your will and acting selfishly, you will lose your life. You will not know the pure joy that comes from letting the Lord guide you. You will be lost without your Savior. Let go of control and give your life to Jesus. Fully surrender and You will be saved when you believe!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for showing me amazing things that You have in store for me. I have tasted and seen that You are so good and every good and perfect gift comes from You! I trust You to bring me through the fire and the flood. I am not afraid to trust You completely. I will not give in or give up. There is joy in the submission because You are with me. With You on my side, who can be against me? You are my strength when I am weak and my comforter when I am hurting. I have found abundant life in the one and only Savior! Just Jesus!
